sunday_salonI’ve started reading a lot from my shelves lately because I haven’t had the time or inclination to go and enquire about a library in KL. Reading from my own shelves gives me a lot of satisfaction. But there are so many book sales in Malaysia that I see myself adding to it frequently. No complaints though, I couldn’t be happier.

There is a huge booksale called ‘The Big Bad Wolf Sale’ in December. I’m eagerly awaiting it but sometimes the book buying itch is strong. So I buy myself one book to keep me going. I bought Virals by Kathy Reich’s in Hardcover for a relatively cheap price.

I’ve also been a lot into art these days, I’ve also got into the adult colouring book bandwagon. I just rearranged my work space to accomodate my art supplies as I don’t like reaching into a  box every-time I want to do something. I love the way it’s turned out.

Here’s a sparkly bookmark I created. I love bling.

Currently I’m reading ‘The Wishmaker by Ali Sethi. It’s good so far. Also, I’m listening to The Revival by Stephen King on my phone. It’s a bit slow in places but interesting. Either way I’m waiting for something to happen.

Since we are living in KL now and own a car (which was not possible in Singapore), we can go on road-trips around KL. It’s fun to be able to get away for a weekend without having to book a flight or take too much effort. We have only been to a beach resort in Kuantan which is 4 hours from KL since we have been busy setting up and settling down. But my MIL is coming to visit us in December and I see a lot of trips planned. Travel makes me happy.

That’s all for now.
